Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps to install Orion Gold Scalper v4.6 on your MetaTrader platform:

1. Download the appropriate version (.ex4 for MT4 or .ex5 for MT5) using the buttons above
2. Open your MetaTrader platform (MT4 or MT5)
3. Navigate to File → Open Data Folder
4. Open the MQL4/Experts folder (for MT4) or MQL5/Experts folder (for MT5)
5. Copy the downloaded .ex4 or .ex5 file into this folder
6. Restart MetaTrader or right-click on the Expert Advisors folder in Navigator and select Refresh
7. Drag and drop the EA onto your XAU/USD (Gold) chart
8. Configure the settings in the EA's input parameters (see our FAQ section for recommended settings)
9. Enable AutoTrading in the toolbar
10. Verify the EA is active by checking for the smiley face icon in the top-right corner of your chart

Upgrading from Previous Versions

If you're upgrading from an earlier version of Orion Gold Scalper, follow these steps:

1. Close all charts that have the previous version of the EA attached
2. Remove the old EA file from your Experts folder
3. Download and install v4.6 following the installation guide above
4. Re-attach the EA to your charts with your preferred settings
5. Review the new settings options - v4.6 includes additional parameters for enhanced control
