What is Goldbot One MT5?

Goldbot One MT5 is a MetaTrader 5 product for XAUUSD. It is not the MT4 build (product 127380).

Version 3.3 (published 6 January 2025) is priced at 649 USD. The product page also lists a later price of 990 USD. It uses the daily chart. It runs eight breakout strategies. Each strategy can open one trade. Each trade has a stop and a take-profit. Trailing stop and trailing take-profit are part of the same setup. You can turn each strategy on or off. An NFP filter can close trades and pending orders around the news.

These tests do not rank it against other gold EAs. Each run is this EA only, on 100 gold paths, with the deposit, risk, or window changed. The results are on this page.
  • 8 daily breakout strategies
  • 6/6 settings with a plus average
  • XAUUSD Daily gold chart

How Goldbot One MT5 trades

Goldbot One MT5 trades XAUUSD on the daily chart. It looks for breaks of daily support and resistance. It runs eight variations of that idea. Each variation can open one trade at a time, so up to eight trades can be open together if all strategies stay on.

Each trade has a stop and a take-profit. Trailing stop and trailing take-profit can lock gains or exit earlier if price turns. You can turn buy trades, sell trades, and each strategy on or off.

An NFP filter can close trades and pending orders around that news. Auto GMT is meant to set the broker offset. A Friday stop hour can close trades before the weekend.

Results can differ by broker spread, GMT offset, and how many of the eight strategies stay on.

What you can set

The main switches are the eight strategies, buy and sell, max spread, NFP filter, Auto GMT, Friday stop hour, and lot size. Lot size can be a fixed lot, a step from the balance, or Max Risk Per Strategy (3 for lower risk, 6 for medium, 10 for higher). A daily drawdown stop can close everything and wait for the next day.

On these solo tests, 1% risk gained a little more than 2% risk (+$39.38 vs +$36.39), and 0.5% risk gained $19.36. Keep the first live risk small until a demo looks acceptable.

Requirements

  • MetaTrader 5
  • XAUUSD on Daily
  • The worldtimeserver.com address allowed in MetaTrader
  • Your own daily loss limit

A good fit if you

  • want a gold EA with eight daily breakout strategies on one chart
  • will demo it on XAUUSD Daily before any live use
  • can accept up to eight open trades if every strategy is on

Not a fit if you need

  • need a single-trade EA with no second strategy
  • need a large percent gain on $5,000 — that average was +$161.01, about +3.2%

Key risks and how to reduce them

What can go wrong

  • Every average was positive, and the $300 worst path still fell 36.94% and closed at −$80.37.
  • On $5,000 the average was +$161.01, about +3.2%, and the worst path closed at −$844.06.
  • All eight strategies on can mean eight trades at once.
  • These tests are not a private funded-account set. Broker spread and GMT offset can change the trades.

Safer first steps

  • Run it on an XAUUSD Daily demo before any live use.
  • Start with a few of the eight strategies, not all eight.
  • Keep risk small until that demo is acceptable. 0.5% still gained $19.36 in these tests.
  • Allow the worldtimeserver.com address and set your own daily loss limit.

What to know before you download

  • Confirm MetaTrader 5, XAUUSD, and a Daily chart.
  • Read the six solo tests before you rely on it.
  • Decide how many of the eight strategies stay on.
  • Allow the worldtimeserver.com address and check Auto GMT.

How the tests work

Gold (XAUUSD) only. Goldbot One MT5 ran alone: no other EA in the test. Each run used 100 paths. The baseline is $1,000, 90 days, 1% risk, lot 0.01. The other runs change one thing: 0.5% risk, 2% risk, a $300 deposit, a $5,000 deposit, or a 180-day window.
