SomaGold Download — 32-Strategy Gold EA for MT5
SomaGold is a MetaTrader 5 gold EA for XAUUSD. It runs 32 breakout strategies on one gold chart, and it can pause around NFP, CPI, and rate decisions. Six solo tests on this page run this EA alone. Every average was positive. The $1,000 baseline gained $6.02.
What is SomaGold?
Version 3.6 (published 15 May 2026) is priced at 600 USD. It runs 32 breakout strategies together on one gold chart. Each strategy has its own timeframe, from H4 up to the daily chart, and its own stop, target, break-even, and trail. It can block new trades around NFP, CPI, and central-bank rate decisions, and it can close the week on Friday so weekend gaps are left alone.
These tests do not rank it against other gold EAs. Each run is this EA only, on 100 gold paths, with the deposit, risk, or window changed. The results are on this page.
- 32 breakout strategies on one chart
- 6/6 settings with a plus average
- XAUUSD only pair
- 3.6 current version
How SomaGold trades
The timeframes inside the portfolio are the daily chart, H12, H8, and H4. Exits use a stop loss, a take profit, break-even, and a trail.
Around NFP, CPI, and rate decisions it can block new entries, cancel pending orders, and close open trades. Each strategy has its own minutes-before and minutes-after window. A Monday-to-Friday window can also cancel orders or close trades outside those hours. Friday close is the default used when the strategies were built.
Lot size can be a fixed lot or a step based on balance or equity, with a global risk multiplier and an optional lot cap. An OnlyUp mode raises the lot with peak capital and does not lower it. Prop-firm rules — a daily loss lock, a no-hedge switch, and a pending-order cap — are off until you turn them on.
What you can set
News windows and the Friday close can be left on. Prop-firm limits stay off until you enable them.
The product points to about 1,000 USD for the default risk. On a smaller account, lower the risk multiplier. The $300 test still finished up on average, and its worst path was the deepest in this set.

Key risks and how to reduce them
What can go wrong
- Thirty-two strategies can hold trades at the same time. A quiet average does not mean a quiet worst path.
- On $300 the worst path fell 33.89% and closed at −$66.87.
- At 2% risk the average was +$54.37, and the worst path closed at −$285.18.
- On $5,000 the worst path closed at −$1,110.69.
Safer first steps
- Demo on XAUUSD before any live use.
- Keep the account near 1,000 USD or lower the risk multiplier.
- Leave the Friday close on unless you have a reason to hold over the weekend.
- Turn on the daily loss lock if you use a prop account. It is off by default.
What to know before you download
- Confirm MetaTrader 5 and an XAUUSD symbol.
- Read the six solo tests before you rely on it.
- Plan a demo with the risk multiplier you will actually use.
- Treat a live signal as marketing, not proof.

How often did paths make money?

Each bar is one test. Height = share of paths that finished in profit — not the same as average $.
How the tests work
Gold (XAUUSD) only. SomaGold ran alone: no other EA in the test. Each run used 100 paths. The baseline is $1,000, 90 days, 1% risk, lot 0.01. The other runs change one thing: 0.5% risk, 2% risk, a $300 deposit, a $5,000 deposit, or a 180-day window.
- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Paths per test: 100
- Typical window: 90 days · deposit 1000 · lot 0.01 · risk 1%
- Market mix: random (uptrend, downtrend, range, chop, and shock paths)
- Engine: Hosted FX EA Tester (this EA alone)
- Coverage: 6 tests · 100 paths each
There is no rank and no “wins” score, because nothing else was in the test.
Average profit is the mean dollar result. Paths in profit is how many of the 100 paths finished up. Drawdown is the usual dip and the worst path.

Our take
In six solo gold tests — this EA only — the average was positive on every setting. The $1,000 baseline gained $6.02. The 2% risk test gained $54.37. The 180-day test gained $47.33. On $300 the worst path fell 33.89%.
Our take: Balanced — solid in several areas, with clear limits. The averages were up, and the usual $1,000 test gained very little. Demo on XAUUSD before any live use.
