Gold Trade Pro MT5 Download — Daily Breakout Gold EA
Gold Trade Pro MT5 is a MetaTrader 5 gold (XAUUSD) EA that trades breakouts of daily support and resistance levels, with 8 built-in strategies and a stop loss and take profit on every trade. In independent 90-day XAUUSD tests against other gold EAs it averaged positive on all 14 boards, though it rarely had the best average.
What is Gold Trade Pro MT5?
The idea is simple: gold often makes strong moves when it breaks a daily support or resistance level, so the EA waits for those breaks on the daily chart. Eight strategies are built in and run together. Each trade opens with a take profit and a stop loss, and a trailing stop follows price when the trade moves the right way.
The listing makes a clear point that it is not a grid or martingale EA — it does not add trades when price goes against the first position. To see how that design held up next to other gold EAs, we ran it through 14 FX EA Tester gold tests with the same rules for every EA — the results are on this page.
- 8 built-in strategies
- D1 daily chart
- SL + TP on every trade
- 14/14 gold boards with plus average
How Gold Trade Pro MT5 trades
The 8 strategies look at these breakouts in different ways and run side by side, so the EA can hold more than one trade at a time. Every trade starts with a fixed take profit and stop loss. When price moves in favour, a trailing stop moves up behind it to protect profit.
There is no grid and no martingale: a losing trade is closed by its stop, not rescued with extra positions. That means single losses are capped, but you will see losing trades and losing weeks.
What you can set
You can also choose which of the 8 strategies run. For accounts between $500 and $1,000, the developer suggests running only strategies 3, 4 and 7, because they have the lowest drawdowns.
The listing also links a live-signal set file, a prop-firm set file and a parameter overview. Backtest the set you plan to use, then run it on demo before going live.

A good fit if you
- want a gold EA with a stop loss on every trade and no grid
- like simple breakout logic you can understand
- are fine with daily-chart trading and slower results
- already know The Gold Reaper and want its older, single-timeframe sibling
- want an independent check before paying $649
Not a fit if you need
- a fast scalper with many trades every day
- a low-cost EA to experiment with
- the strongest averages in every test — it was usually mid-table on average profit
- an account under $500
- a live Myfxbook / broker statement copied here as proof
Key risks and how to reduce them
What can go wrong
- Breakout systems can take several false breaks in a row, so losing streaks happen even with stops.
- Running all 8 strategies at once can open several trades together, which adds up the risk per trade.
- On small accounts the developer's own advice is to cut down to three strategies.
- Daily-chart trades can stay open over news and weekends.
- Spread, slippage and VPS quality still matter at breakout moments.
Safer first steps
- Backtest the set file you plan to use, then demo it on your broker.
- Start at 1% risk per trade or lower.
- On $500–$1,000, run only strategies 3, 4 and 7.
- Do not raise risk after a losing week.
- Set your own maximum account-loss limit before going live.
What to know before you download
- Choose MT5 or the separate MT4 edition — they are two products.
- List price was $649 to buy on 1 Oct 2026 — check the live figure.
- Know the model: daily breakouts, 8 strategies, SL + TP on every trade, no grid.
- Plan for $1,000 (or $500+ with three strategies) and a VPS.
- Independent 90-day gold tests were positive on average on all 14 boards, but usually not the best average — read them before you buy.
Independent gold tests
- Coverage: 14 tests · 71 other gold EAs · 100 paths each · 90 days (one 180-day board)
- Profit: positive average on all 14 boards, from +$21.15 (0.5% risk) to +$77.91 (180-day) on $1000
- Wins: first on the $300 board, top three on 7 boards; best average only on the 2% risk board (+$67.12)
- Same developer's The Gold Reaper beat it on all 4 boards they shared
- Usual drawdown about 7.7–9.9%; worst $1000 paths about 14–28%

• Wins: first on the $300 board and top three on 7 of 14. Never last; its weakest finish was #7 (MT4 and grid stress).
• Averages: best on the board only once (2% risk, +$67.12). On several boards it was mid-table on average while the leader made two to three times more.
• Same developer: The Gold Reaper beat it on wins and average on all 4 boards they shared (mixed popular, MT4, MT5, 0.5% risk).
• Drawdown: average max drawdown stayed in a narrow 7.7–9.9% band. Worst paths about 14–28% on $1000, 24% on $300 and 19% on $5000. 52–78 of 100 paths ended in profit, with no washouts.
• Bottom line: steady and positive everywhere, but rarely the top earner.

How the tests work
Gold (XAUUSD) boards only. Gold Trade Pro MT5 and nine other EAs per board, all on the same deposit, lot and risk settings and the same 100 paths over 90 days (180 days on the longer-window board). Across the 14 tests it met 71 other gold EAs.
Conditions covered: mixed popular, MT4, MT5, scalper, trend, AI, hybrid and grid fields, plus 0.5% and 2% risk, $300 and $5000 accounts, and a 180-day window. The developer's set files are not used, so treat this as a check of the design rather than of one set.
- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Paths per test: 100
- Typical window: 90 days · deposit 1000 · lot 0.01 · risk 1%
- Market mix: random (uptrend, downtrend, range, chop, and shock paths)
- Engine: Hosted FX EA Tester (same rules for every EA in a test)
- Coverage: 14 tests · 71 other EAs · 100 paths each
For this EA, wins and average profit tell slightly different stories. It often placed in the top three on wins, but on average profit it usually sat in the middle of the board — leaders like The Gold Reaper or Gold Vanguard EA made more on average when they won.
Paths in profit (52–78 of 100) and the narrow average drawdown band show how steady it was. Path-type notes are FX EA Tester labels.

Our take
In these 90-day gold tests that design was steady. It averaged positive on all 14 boards, was never last, won the $300 board and had the best average at 2% risk, with a narrow drawdown band and no washouts. The limit is how much it earned: on most boards the leader made clearly more, and the same developer's The Gold Reaper beat it every time they met.
Our take: Balanced — solid in several areas, with clear limits. A reasonable stop-based option to demo; compare it with The Gold Reaper before paying. Downloads stay on MetaTrader Market.

FAQ
Where do I download Gold Trade Pro MT5?
The Download link on this page goes to the official MetaTrader 5 product. An MT4 edition is sold separately. Demo first before any live use.
How much does Gold Trade Pro MT5 cost?
It was $649 to buy on 1 Oct 2026, with no rent option shown. The MT4 edition was also $649. Check the download page for the current price.
Does Gold Trade Pro use a grid or martingale?
No. The listing says it trades breakouts of daily support and resistance with a take profit and stop loss on every trade, plus a trailing stop. It does not add trades against a losing position.
What timeframe and balance does it need?
XAUUSD on the daily (D1) chart. The MT5 listing suggests $1,000. For $500–$1,000, the developer suggests running only strategies 3, 4 and 7.
How is it different from The Gold Reaper?
Both are by Wim Schrynemakers. The Gold Reaper is built on Gold Trade Pro but runs on several timeframes with a trade-frequency setting. In our tests The Gold Reaper beat Gold Trade Pro on all 4 boards where both appeared.
How did it do in the gold tests?
Well and steadily. It averaged positive on all 14 boards over 90 days, from +$21.15 to +$77.91 on $1000. It was first on wins on the $300 board and top three on 7 boards, but it had the best average on only one board (2% risk).
How deep was the drawdown?
Average max drawdown stayed between about 7.7% and 9.9%. Worst paths reached about 14–28% on $1000 boards, 24.05% on the $300 account and 19.41% on $5000.
Did higher risk help?
In these tests, yes: at 2% risk it averaged +$67.12, the best on that board, compared with +$23.07 on the 1% mixed popular board. Higher risk also means larger losing streaks in real trading, so test it on demo first.
Is Gold Trade Pro MT5 worth $649?
It was one of the steadier EAs in our tests — positive on every board, no washouts — but rarely the top earner. If you want stop-based gold trading and can accept middle-of-the-board averages, it is a reasonable candidate to demo. Compare The Gold Reaper first.
Did it face 100 gold EAs at once?
No. 14 gold boards, 71 unique other EAs, 10 per board.
Are these live trading results?
No. These are FX EA Tester gold boards, not live trading results. Marketplace reviews and live signals are not checked here.
What to do next
1) Note the main finding: positive average on all 14 boards, but the best average on only one.
2) Compare The Gold Reaper MT5 (same developer) and Gold Vanguard EA below.
3) ZIP downloads are optional rank files.
4) If you try it, backtest your set file, then demo at 1% risk or lower before going live.
