XG Gold Robot MT5 Download — H1 Gold EA with News Filter

XG Gold Robot MT5 is a MetaTrader 5 gold EA for the H1 chart built around price action, cycle and SMA strength, RSI and two built-in custom indicators, with time, news and spread filters. In independent 90-day XAUUSD tests against other gold EAs it averaged positive on all 14 boards, led wins once and had the best average once — at a high list price.

MT5 (MT4 version too) · XAUUSD · H1 · Paid — $1,599

What is XG Gold Robot MT5?

XG Gold Robot MT5 is by Marzena Maria Szmit (MQL TOOLS SL, Spain), who also sells Scalping Robot Pro MT5 and XIRO Robot MT5. It was first published in April 2023 and is on version 9.2. A separate MT4 edition, XG Gold Robot MT4, is sold on its own listing. Those other products are not the same as this one.

The EA is built for gold on the 1-hour chart (XAUUSD, GOLD, XAUEUR). The listing describes a mix of price action, cycle strength, SMA strength, RSI and two custom indicators inside the strategy, plus optional weekly gold level lines on the chart. Time, news (±60 minutes around high-impact events) and spread filters are part of the package. You pick a risk percent and a Low / Medium / High risk mode.

To see how it held up next to other gold EAs, we ran it through 14 FX EA Tester gold tests with the same rules for every EA — the results are on this page.
  • H1 timeframe on gold
  • 3 risk modes: Low / Medium / High
  • $1,000 minimum deposit on the listing
  • 14/14 gold boards with plus average

How XG Gold Robot MT5 trades

Attach the EA to an XAUUSD (or GOLD / XAUEUR) H1 chart. Entries are described as a mix of price action, cycle strength, SMA strength, RSI and two built-in custom indicators.

Lot size can follow a risk percent, with three risk modes (Low, Medium, High). A time filter limits trading days and hours. A news filter can block new trades for a set window around high-impact news (listing default ±60 minutes), and a spread filter adds another gate. Optional tools include a volume filter, FIFO matching, holiday trading with the news filter, and a chart panel with weekly gold min/max levels.

The listing does not spell out single-position-only or no-grid rules, so treat position stacking as unknown until you see it on your own demo.

What you can set

The short path is: attach on gold H1, set risk percent and risk mode (start Low), turn the news and spread filters on, and leave the rest alone.

If you want more control, trading hours, news window minutes, volume filter, FIFO, holiday trading and the weekly levels panel are all listed as inputs. Manuals are offered in several languages after purchase via the seller’s private group.

Use a broker with a low gold spread, at least $1,000, and leverage the listing allows (about 1:30–1:1000). A VPS is recommended if you leave it running.

Broker presets

  • Attach on XAUUSD / GOLD / XAUEUR — H1 chart
  • Risk percent + Low / Medium / High mode (start Low)
  • From $1,000; leverage about 1:30–1:1000
  • News filter on (±60 minutes around high-impact news)
  • Low-spread broker and a VPS recommended

Requirements

  • MetaTrader 5 (or the separate MT4 edition)
  • Gold on the H1 chart (XAUUSD / GOLD / XAUEUR)
  • From $1,000 deposit
  • Leverage about 1:30–1:1000 per the listing
  • A low-spread gold broker; VPS recommended for 24/7

A good fit if you

  • want an H1 gold EA with news, time and spread filters
  • like Low / Medium / High risk modes instead of heavy tuning
  • can meet a $1,000 minimum and accept a high purchase price
  • want an independent check before spending four figures
  • already use other tools from the same seller and want gold-specific coverage

Not a fit if you need

  • a cheap entry — promo price was $1,599 with a $2,499 list
  • a guaranteed top-of-board EA — it led wins on only 1 of 14 tests
  • strict proof of no grid / no multi-position stacking — the listing does not say that
  • accounts under $1,000 if you follow the listing
  • a live Myfxbook / broker statement copied here as proof

Key risks and how to reduce them

What can go wrong

  • The purchase price is high; other gold EAs in these tests cost far less and sometimes earned more on the same boards.
  • Risk mode and risk percent change lot size — High mode can enlarge drawdowns quickly.
  • The listing does not document grid / recovery behaviour in detail; confirm how many positions open on your own demo.
  • Promo pricing ends or changes; check the live Market figure before you buy.
  • Spread and news still matter on H1 if filters are off or mis-set.

Safer first steps

  • Demo on your own broker for several weeks.
  • Start in Low risk mode with a modest risk percent.
  • Keep the news and spread filters on while you learn the behaviour.
  • Stay at or above the $1,000 listing minimum.
  • Set your own maximum account-loss limit before going live.

What to know before you download

  • Choose MT5 or the separate MT4 edition — they are two products at the same promo/list prices.
  • Plan for at least $1,000 and a low-spread gold feed.
  • MT5 was $1,599 promo / $2,499 list on 6 Oct 2026 — confirm the live figure.
  • Know the model: H1 gold, indicator confluence, time/news/spread filters, three risk modes.
  • Independent 90-day gold tests were positive on all 14 boards — still not a reason to skip demo.

How the tests work

Gold (XAUUSD) boards only. XG Gold Robot MT5 ran with nine other EAs per board, on the same deposit, lot and risk settings and the same 100 paths over 90 days (180 days on the longer-window board). Across the 14 tests it met 71 other gold EAs.

Conditions covered: mixed popular, MT4, MT5, scalper, trend, AI, hybrid and grid fields, plus 0.5% and 2% risk, $300 and $5000 accounts, and a 180-day window.

So… is XG Gold Robot MT5 worth trying?

Our take: Balanced — solid in several areas, with clear limits

Where it looked stronger or weaker

Fit by condition uses FX EA Tester peer groups, not a live product claim.

Better in these test mixes

  • Trend peer field — first on wins (25/100), +$44.71
  • 0.5% risk — best average on the board (+$35.62), #2 on wins (15/100)
  • 180-day window — #2 on wins (24/100), +$70.87
  • AI peer field — #2 on wins (17/100), +$43.22
  • Grid / recovery stress — second-best average (+$53.41) even with only 6 wins

Weaker in these test mixes

  • Scalper field — #7 on wins and average (6/100, +$28.44), deepest $1000 worst path (33.81%)
  • Grid stress wins — tied near the bottom on path wins (6/100)
  • MT4 / MT5 popular mixes — mid-pack on wins (9/100) while Scalping Robot Pro or The Gold Reaper led
  • $300 account — #6 on average (+$17.29), deepest worst path in the set (33.89%)

Strong points

  • Positive average on all 14 boards, no washouts
  • First on wins in the trend field (25/100)
  • Best average at 0.5% risk (+$35.62)
  • Strong 180-day board (#2 wins, +$70.87)
  • News, time and spread filters on the listing

Weak points

  • High price ($1,599 promo / $2,499 list) vs other gold EAs in these tests
  • Only one first-place board; mid-pack on popular MT4/MT5 mixes
  • Weakest on scalper-field and grid-stress wins (6/100)
  • Worst path still reached about 34% on $300 and scalper-field boards
  • Listing does not clearly document grid / multi-position behaviour

Reasons it may fit you

  • You want an H1 gold EA with filters and accept a high price if the style fits
  • You will start in Low risk mode and demo for weeks
  • You care more about steady positive averages than topping every board

Reasons to be careful

  • You want a cheaper gold EA that already led these boards
  • You need a documented single-position / no-grid guarantee
  • You only trust live Myfxbook / broker results

Our take

XG Gold Robot MT5 is an H1 gold EA with price-action / indicator confluence, three risk modes and time, news and spread filters. A separate MT4 edition exists. It is not the same product as Scalping Robot Pro or XIRO from the same seller.

In these 90-day gold tests it was consistently positive: plus averages on all 14 boards, no washouts, first on wins in the trend field and best average at 0.5% risk. It still finished mid-pack on several popular mixes, was weak on scalper-field and grid-stress wins, and the purchase price is far above many peers that led those boards.

Our take: Balanced — solid in several areas, with clear limits. The test profile is steadier than many expensive gold EAs, but price and peer-mix gaps still matter. Demo first and compare the EAs below. Downloads stay on MetaTrader Market.

FAQ

Where do I download XG Gold Robot MT5?

The Download link on this page goes to the official MetaTrader 5 product. An MT4 edition is sold separately. Demo first before any live use.

Is XG Gold Robot the same as Scalping Robot Pro or XIRO Robot?

No. They share the same developer (Marzena Maria Szmit / MQL TOOLS SL), but they are separate products. This page covers XG Gold Robot MT5 only.

How much does XG Gold Robot MT5 cost?

On 6 Oct 2026 the MT5 listing showed a $1,599 promo buy (until 7 Oct 2026) and a $2,499 list price. The MT4 edition used the same figures. Check the download page for the live price.

Does it use a grid or martingale?

The Market page does not clearly claim no grid or no martingale. It describes indicator confluence plus filters and risk modes. Confirm how many positions open on your own demo.

What does it need to run?

MetaTrader 5, a gold H1 chart, at least $1,000, and leverage in the listing’s range (about 1:30–1:1000). A low-spread broker and a VPS are recommended. News and spread filters should stay on while you learn it.

How did it do in the gold tests?

It averaged positive on all 14 boards over 90 days, with no washouts. It led wins once (trend field) and had the best average once (0.5% risk). On popular mixes it often finished mid-pack behind Scalping Robot Pro or The Gold Reaper.

Where did it do best?

In the trend peer field it was first on wins (25/100). At 0.5% risk it had the best average (+$35.62). The 180-day board was also strong (#2 wins, +$70.87).

How deep was the drawdown?

Average max drawdown stayed between about 8.1% and 11.1%. Worst paths reached about 18–34% on $1000 boards, 33.89% on the $300 account and 24.72% on $5000.

Is XG Gold Robot MT5 worth $1,599?

The tests show steady positive averages and a few strong boards, but not a clean sweep of the popular mixes — and several cheaper EAs led those boards. Compare Scalping Robot Pro and The Gold Reaper first, and demo if you still prefer this H1 filter setup.

Did it face 100 gold EAs at once?

No. 14 gold boards, 71 unique other EAs, 10 per board.

Are these live trading results?

No. These are FX EA Tester gold boards, not live trading results. Marketplace reviews and live signals are not checked here.
