EA Black Dragon MT5 Download — Trend EA with Order Network
EA Black Dragon MT5 is a MetaTrader 5 trend EA that opens from a Black Dragon indicator colour, then can grow an order network or use a stop loss on hedging accounts. In independent 90-day XAUUSD tests against other gold EAs it averaged positive on all 14 boards, never led wins, and had the best average once on the large-account board.
What is EA Black Dragon MT5?
The EA follows a trend indicator (Black Dragon). It opens when the indicator colour flips, then you can either grow a network of orders or work with a stop loss. It needs a hedging account. Inputs also cover lot multiplier, max buy/sell orders, optional hedge mode, hour filters, and an overlap close that can recover a losing first order against a later winner.
The product is sold for several forex pairs (listing recommendations often name EURUSD / GBPUSD on M15). This page’s independent tests check gold (XAUUSD) only under FX EA Tester rules — the results are below.
- $30 buy price (MT5)
- Trend indicator entry
- Network optional order grid
- 14/14 gold boards with plus average
How EA Black Dragon MT5 trades
Other listed controls: max buy and sell orders, optional hedge (buy and sell), start/end hour, max spread, optional stochastic filter, pause between orders, fixed or dynamic distance, and overlap last order (close first and last together to cut drawdown when the last trade is ahead).
Use a hedging account. Timeframe is selectable (`TF Black Dragon`); many free set packs and the Portuguese Market notes point to M15 for major pairs.
What you can set
If you want more control, tune max buy/sell orders, distance, overlap, hours, and whether hedge mode is on. Contact the seller after purchase for their instruction pack and bonus — the listing says settings are free via their blog/support, not Telegram resellers.
For gold tests on this page we only ran XAUUSD. If you trade EURUSD or GBPUSD, those paths are outside these boards.

A good fit if you
- want a low-priced trend EA with clear network-or-stop choices
- use hedging accounts and accept stacked orders when the network is on
- trade majors or gold and will demo settings before going live
- want an independent gold check before spending $30
Not a fit if you need
- a strict one-trade-at-a-time EA — the order network is optional but real
- netting-only accounts — hedging is required
- an EA that topped these gold boards on wins — it never finished first here
- proof from live Myfxbook copied onto this page
Key risks and how to reduce them
What can go wrong
- Lot multiplier and a growing order network can raise drawdown fast on gold.
- Overlap and hedge modes change how losses are closed — learn them on demo.
- Seller materials focus on majors; gold behaviour can differ from EURUSD sets.
- Telegram resellers are called out as scams on the listing — buy only on Market.
Safer first steps
- Demo on your broker for several weeks.
- Start with a small lot and lot multiplier at 1.0 (or network off).
- Add the order network only after you understand max orders and distance.
- Keep a hard account-loss limit before any live use.
What to know before you download
- Choose MT5 ($30) or the separate MT4 edition ($30).
- Confirm a hedging account and the pair/timeframe you will use.
- Decide whether the order network stays off for your first demo.
- Message the seller after purchase for instructions (per the listing).
- Read the gold tests below — positive averages, but never first on wins.

How the tests work
Gold (XAUUSD) boards only. EA Black Dragon MT5 ran with nine other EAs per board, on the same deposit, lot and risk settings and the same 100 paths over 90 days (180 days on the longer-window board). Across the 14 tests it met 71 other gold EAs.
Conditions covered: mixed popular, MT4, MT5, scalper, trend, AI, hybrid and grid fields, plus 0.5% and 2% risk, $300 and $5000 accounts, and a 180-day window.
- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Paths per test: 100
- Typical window: 90 days · deposit 1000 · lot 0.01 · risk 1%
- Market mix: random (uptrend, downtrend, range, chop, and shock paths)
- Engine: Hosted FX EA Tester (same rules for every EA in a test)
- Coverage: 14 tests · 71 other EAs · 100 paths each
For EA Black Dragon MT5, every board averaged positive, but it rarely led the pack. Use the leaders when it finishes mid-table, and note the one best-average board ($5000) versus the thin AI and trend averages.
Paths in profit (51–69 of 100) and worst drawdown show how far a single path could go. Path-type notes are FX EA Tester labels.

Reasons it may fit you
- You want a cheap trend EA and will keep the network small on demo
- You use hedging accounts and accept optional stacked orders
- You care more about steady plus averages than topping every board
Reasons to be careful
- You want an EA that led these gold tests on wins
- You need a guaranteed single-position / no-network setup
- You only trust live Myfxbook / broker results
Our take
In these 90-day gold tests it was consistently positive — plus averages on all 14 boards, no washouts, best average on the $5000 board — but it never led wins and looked soft on grid-stress wins and on the AI and trend averages.
Our take: Mixed — strengths and weak spots both show. Cheap to try, with real network risk if you scale lots. Demo first and compare the EAs below. Downloads stay on MetaTrader Market.

FAQ
Where do I download EA Black Dragon MT5?
The Download link on this page goes to the official MetaTrader 5 product. An MT4 edition is sold separately. Demo first before any live use.
Is EA Black Dragon the same as Umbrella or Trend Catcher?
No. They share the same developer (Ramil Minniakhmetov), but they are separate products. This page covers EA Black Dragon MT5 only.
How much does EA Black Dragon MT5 cost?
On 7 Oct 2026 both the MT5 and MT4 editions were $30 to buy. Check the download page for the live price.
Does it use a grid or martingale?
The listing lets you increase a network of orders and use a lot multiplier, or work with a stop loss instead. Overlap close can recover a losing first order against a later winner. Treat stacked orders as part of the design when the network is on.
What does it need to run?
MetaTrader 5, a hedging account, and your chosen pair/timeframe (M15 is common in seller materials). About $1,000 is often recommended. Contact the seller after purchase for instructions.
How did it do in the gold tests?
It averaged positive on all 14 boards over 90 days, with no washouts, but it never finished first on wins. The best average was on the $5000 board; the weakest win share was on grid stress.
Where did it do best?
On the $5000 account it had the best average (+$214.46) and finished #2 on wins. It was also #3 on wins in the scalper group, at 2% risk, on $300, and on the 180-day board.

Is EA Black Dragon MT5 worth $30?
The price is low and the gold averages stayed positive, but other EAs led most boards. Demo with the network small first, and compare Scalping Robot Pro or TwisterPro if you want stronger win leaders from these tests.
Did it face 100 gold EAs at once?
No. 14 gold boards, 71 unique other EAs, 10 per board.
Are these live trading results?
