MT5 gold trend EA · independent tests
Goldrix Trend MT5 Download — Gold Trend EA for M15
Goldrix Trend MT5 is a MetaTrader 5 gold (XAUUSD) EA that follows the trend on M15 and trades breakouts at key support and resistance. It holds one position at a time, puts a stop loss on every trade, and uses no grid or martingale. In independent 90-day XAUUSD tests against other gold EAs it averaged plus on 13 of 14 boards, mostly by modest amounts.
What is Goldrix Trend MT5?
The idea is simple trend following. The EA waits for price to break a key support or resistance level in the trend direction, opens one trade, and protects it with a stop loss and a trailing stop. It does not use grid, martingale, or averaging down, and it does not rely on machine learning. The seller asks users to give it at least three months before judging results.
The listing links live signals. Independent FX EA Tester gold boards on this page used the same money rules for every EA across different market conditions — results are below.

How Goldrix Trend MT5 trades
Every trade has a stop loss from the start. A trailing stop follows price when the trade moves into profit. There is no grid, martingale, or cost averaging, so a losing trade is closed by its stop instead of being added to.

- want to see independent results before you spend money

Not a fit if you need
- large averages — most plus boards here were +$4 to +$31 on $1000
- a gold scalper — it was mid-pack or lower on both scalper boards here
- a board leader — it led wins on only one board (0.5% risk)
- a larger-account EA — it was last on wins and average on the $5000 board
- a live Myfxbook / broker statement copied here as proof
Key risks and how to reduce them
What can go wrong
- Negative average on the $5000 board (−$26.26), last on that board.
- Worst paths reached about 16–27% drawdown on $1000 boards and 34% on the $300 account.
- Most plus averages were modest; several other EAs made clearly more on most boards.
- Trend systems can have long losing streaks in sideways markets.
- The live signals on the listing are not confirmed here.
Safer first steps
- Demo on the same broker and VPS you plan to use later.
- Use a low percent risk at first, below the seller's 1–5% range if you can.
- Do not raise risk after a loss.
- Set your own hard account-loss limit before any live use.
- Read the per-board results below before you size up.
What to know before you download
- Confirm you need MT5 and use the Goldrix Trend MT5 download (MT4 is a separate product).
- List price was $139 on 29 Sep 2026 — check the live figure.
- Know the model: M15 trend breakouts, one trade at a time, stop loss on every trade.
- Independent 90-day gold tests were plus on average in 13 of 14 boards, mostly modest.
- Demo first; automated trading can lose capital.

Did it make money on average?
Mixed — made money on average in 13 of 14 tests
We ran 14 separate gold tests (different peer mixes and account settings). Each line below is one test’s average dollar result — not wins.
One more catch: wins ≠ profit
On the Goldrix Trend MT5 gold @ $5000 deposit test it finished first most often — and still lost money on average.

How the tests work
Gold (XAUUSD) boards only. Goldrix Trend MT5 and nine other EAs per board, with the same money settings and the same 100 paths.
Fourteen gold conditions: mixed popular, MT4, MT5, scalper, trend, AI, hybrid and grid fields, plus 0.5% and 2% risk, $300 and $5000 accounts, and a 180-day window. The seller asks for three months of live running; these boards cover 90 days (180 days on the longer-window board).
- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Paths per test: 100
- Typical window: 90 days · deposit 1000 · lot 0.01 · risk 1%
- Market mix: random (uptrend, downtrend, range, chop, and shock paths)
- Engine: Hosted FX EA Tester (same rules for every EA in a test)
- Coverage: 14 tests · 74 other EAs · 100 paths each
For this EA, start with average profit. It was plus on almost every board but usually mid-table, and it had the best average on none. Its best showings were against other trend EAs and at 0.5% risk.
Paths in profit tell you how often a run ended above the deposit. Average DD vs worst DD is the risk split. Path-type notes are FX EA Tester regime labels.

Reasons it may fit you
- You want an honest check of a paid MT5 gold trend EA before you spend money or demo time
- You care about average profit, not only the listing's design
- You accept gold risk and will try a demo before using real money
Reasons to be careful
- You want large averages or an EA that leads most boards
- You plan to run it on a larger account
- You only trust live Myfxbook / broker results
Our take
The averages were modest, though, and it never had the best average on a board. Its best showings were against other trend EAs and over 180 days; its weakest was the $5000 board, where it came last.
Our take: Mixed — strengths and weak spots both show. If the simple design appeals to you, demo at low risk first. Downloads stay on MetaTrader Market.

FAQ
What does Goldrix Trend MT5 trade?
Gold (XAUUSD) on the 15-minute chart. It is a trend-following EA that trades breakouts at key support and resistance, one position at a time.
Is there an MT4 version?
Yes, the seller sells an MT4 version as a separate product. This page links the MT5 version, and the tests here are XAUUSD only.
Does it use grid or martingale?
The listing says no — no grid, martingale, or cost averaging. Every trade has a stop loss, and a trailing stop can lock in profit.
How did it do in the gold tests?
It averaged plus on 13 of 14 boards over 90 days, from +$3.95 (MT4 field) to +$46.10 (180-day). It led wins on the 0.5% risk board. The only red board was the $5000 account (−$26.26), where it was last on wins and average.
Where did it look best?
Against other trend EAs it was #2 on both wins and average (+$43.19). It led wins at 0.5% risk (16/100, +$31.10) and was #3 over 180 days (+$46.10, 69/100 paths in profit).
What drawdown did it show?
Average max drawdown was about 6.4–9.4%. Worst paths were about 16–27% on $1000 boards and 34.15% on the $300 account.
Is Goldrix Trend MT5 worth $139?
The design is simple and careful — one trade, a stop loss, no grid — and it was plus on most boards here. But the averages were modest and it was weak on the $5000 board. If you want to try it, demo at low risk and compare it with the EAs below first.
Which gold EAs looked better in tests?
Gold Vanguard EA led the trend board. Scalping Robot Pro led the mixed, MT4 and MT5 boards (up to +$128.04), Adaptive Gold Scalper MT5 led the scalper field, and Gold Zilla AI led the 2% risk and 180-day boards.
Did it face 100 gold EAs at once?
14 gold boards, 74 unique other EAs, 10 per board. Not 100 at once.
Do you have live results here?
No. These are FX EA Tester gold boards only — not live trading results. The live signals on the listing are not checked here.
